High Reflectors and Output Couplers
   

                The Optical Corporation has comprehensive in-house Laser Quality Mirror manufacturing capability and currently supplies laser mirrors to major solid-state laser manufacturers. Optical substrates are available from a wide variety of optical materials in a broad size range. Sophisticated polishing capabilities include super-polishing substrates. This acts to substantially improve the damage threshold of laser mirrors and reduces their scattering and absorption losses. Dielectric output couplers for high gain or low gain lasers are readily accommodated due to the broad range of transmissions possible with tight tolerances and over a broad spectral range. High reflector coatings may be of either dielectric thin films or metal, depending upon the application.
